  2. I was diagnosed last year with Fibromyalgia and Lupus. If I don’t get stress and I take the pills, I’m ok. Meaning that it doesn’t hurt that much and the tiredness isn’t too bad. It all came on from a skin rash that I had last year and couldn’t get rid of. Come to find out the sun makes people with lupus have an auto-immune reaction which in turn becomes a itchy, inflamed skin rash to all the exposed areas of my body. They call this photo sensitivity.
It happens when the uv rays are high and of course I live in southern California. Unfortunately, this year it seems to be worse and no matter what I do or take the sparks of itchiness continues. I am imprisoned in my house with all the shades down. The medicine I take is supposed to help with the photo sensitivity, but it is a very slow working medicine that takes months to take effect and might not work at all. Lupus and fibromyalgia also attacks my cognitive abilities and my memories. I have a hard time expressing myself and remembering what I wanted to say. I believe that God deliver me from all of this, please pray for me and ask him to cure me. The not going outside is the worse. I believe in God’s miracles and I know he will cure me with faith and pray. Thank you. Nancy Tophigh

  3. Praises to our Lord, for having saved me from sin and doubt, so many years ago. It's still a struggle, constantly, but thank God for a parish community like OLPH (where I used to be a regularly-attending member and still get to visit 5 or 6 times a year): many of you people have no idea how blessed you are to have a parish of this kind in your back yard.
I pray for everyone who attends OLPH to become more aware of how desperately many souls out there need a community like this but don't have access to one.
    Thank you Lord.

Nancy, I'm praying for you to make a complete recovery from fibromyalgia. You may want to check out Dr. St. Amand, a pioneer in treating fibromyalgia. God Bless.

We’d like to request that your congregation pray for our third daughter, Quincy Rose Marsh. I am 31.5 weeks pregnant with her and in a hospital on bed rest. We live in a small mountain community in San Diego County, CA. We have had several ultrasounds that show she has heart trouble, cleft lip, and other markers for trisomy 18. Please help us pray for a miracle of complete healing for her.

Jesus said in Mark 11:24, “I tell you then, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.” So we ask that you offer an affirmative prayer such as this: “Thank you, God, for healing Quincy Rose Marsh and making her so beautiful, healthy, smart, strong and kind.” We believe that miracles are possible and that in this case it has already happened.

Thank you so much for your time, support and for allowing us to frame the wording of your prayer in the affirmative present tense. If you let us know that you plan to pray for her, we will keep in touch and let you know how she is doing later this year.

    Best Regards,
Katie, Dan, Tabitha, Willow & Quincy Marsh
